THREE HEALTH/BEAUTY PRODUCTS I SWEAR BY

There are 3 things that I do every single day. Literally, every day. Every single morning, and every single night like clockwork, there are 3 things that go down in the Werhas household. My new husband probably thinks I’m a complete maniac holistic hippie. He has yet to question me, so I am just going to continue doing my thing.

I truly believe these 3 things have drastically improved my health, quality of life, and contributed to looking years younger than I am. So why waste your time and mine? I am going to get right to it.

1. COLLAGEN

And not just any collagen. This is not a product you want to grab the cheapest you can find in hopes that you achieve the results I personally have experienced. You want to make sure you do your homework, research, and are prepared to commit indefinitely. And guess what? If you are not about to get on Google and do research on collagen supplements, you don’t have to. Because I already did. I mean…. It’s why I created this blog in the first place. So humor me, trust me, and JUST GO WITH IT.

I initially used Neocell’s collagen. It’s clean, it’s real, and it absorbs the way collagen should absorb. I love it. I honestly can’t say enough positive affirmations about this brand of collagen. BUT, I eventually found one that’s even better.

Dr. Axe’s Multi Collagen Protein

The best you can find. I really love this product. I discovered Dr. Axe years ago, while trying to recover from some major health issues. As I read his blogs and listened to his podcasts, it was like blinders were being removed from my eyes. Those moments of enlightenment were moments that gave me hope again. So when I write about collagen, I am really writing about SO MUCH MORE than just a product I love. The reason I love this collagen is because it works, and it works fast. I think most of the time with collagen, we just take it, assuming it’s doing it’s thing, but never really feel any different or see visible improvements.

Most collagens on the market feature only one source of collagen, but Dr. Axe’s Multi Collagen Protein has five. I take collagen daily to support healthy skin/hair, healthy joints, and a healthy gut.

2. Gut Shot

I first started drinking Gut Shot 3 years ago, when a client of mine told me about it. She started giving it to her kids and would take it with them. While taking it with her kids, she noticed some major improvements that were worth sharing. The thing that stood out the most to me was the “brain fog” cleared up. I was SO SICK of brain fog. I was an avid probiotic person already, but the supplements I was taking never felt effective.

***Gut shot is a 16 ounce drink. You consume 2 shots a day, one in the morning and one at night. The bottle lasts about a week and is around $6.

Warning: This precious little miracle drink has a major kick to it. Be sure to dilute it in at least 6 ounces of water. You can get creative when drinking this. Sometimes people mix it with apple juice, or add cayenne pepper, turmeric, or cinnamon. For me, I mix 2 tsp with 6 ounces of water and one scoop of my collagen powder.

The benefits of apple cider vinegar include reduced cholesterol, lower blood sugar levels, improved symptoms of diabetes, immune support, and weight loss. It’s loaded with amino acids, antioxidants, can kill many types of harmful bacteria, reduces belly fat, kills appetite, improves heart health, and may even protect against cancer.

Always make sure to purchase organic, unfiltered with the “mother”, as most people claim it being the main source of health benefits.

I definitely think it’s important to do your research and thoroughly understand what it is you’re doing to your body with the products, supplements, and foods you’re consuming. Otherwise, you will have unrealistic expectations and quit when you don’t experience them. These 3 things can significantly improve your health and quality of living, but it takes time and consistency. When you randomly take supplements or health products and are not consistent, you may as well be throwing your money away.
